Clinical Supervisor - Part-Time - Residential - $2,000 Sign on Bonus - Rumford (364)

*Inquire for specific details. Sign on Bonuses are pro-rated based hours per week. First 1/2 is paid upon successful completion of 90 day review/introductory period completion and second half is paid after 6 months from hire date, pending introductory period has been completed.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Lead Clinical Supervisor, the Clinical Supervisor-Residential is responsible for clinical supervision, treatment plans and implementation and support of staff of the agency's Residential treatment programs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Demonstrates commitment to the mission of the agency with a strong understanding and respect for the goals of agency activities.

Provides clinical direction and support to the Program Administrator and Residential Services Workers.  Works with consumers to develop individual solutions and strategies to achieve service plan goals.

Provides clinical assistance and direction in the development of specialized residential programming for individuals with different needs and issues.

Provides clinical oversight and direction in development of treatment milieu with other team members.

Provides clinical supervision to affiliated students.

Participates in assessment of people referred to program, evaluating their clinical needs and compatibility with other residents and program supports.

Responsible for completing identified managed care requirements.

Works as a member of the Residential Services team and with the Manager to integrate operations and clinical components of treatment program. The team for the program consists of the Program Administrator, Nurse Consultant and the Residential Services Workers.

Collaborates with Program Administrator in the development and maintenance of appropriate records and outcome measures.

Develops and provides training as needed in clinical/treatment issues with the Program Administrator and staff.

Assesses clinical aspect of program staff performance for use in staff evaluation process. Provides support and expertise by participating in hiring of program staff.

Assures that clinical supervision provided is in accordance with requisite standards.

Seeks additional consultation and/or supervision when needed and as appropriate.

Remains accessible to staff at non-scheduled times for crisis assistance.  May provide back-up to on-call staff as needed.

Adheres to agency and program policies and procedures.

May provide public education and professional consultation services as appropriate.

Functions in a cost-effective manner with regard to the utilization of time, supplies and other agency resources.

Attends meetings and supervisions as required and necessary for the position.

Promotes and fosters effective relations, both inside and outside of the agency.

May use personal vehicle for agency-related business as required.

May perform other related duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must be licensed in the State of Maine as an LCSW/LCPC/LMFT conditional clinical or as an RN with Psychiatric Certification by the ANCC Board.  Community mental health oriented training and/or experience as well as experience in residential services is essential.  Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision.

Familiarity with managed care system requirements preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

Provides clinical supervision for Residential Services Workers according to regulatory requirements and in accordance with agency and program policies and procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Residential environment; may be subjected to unpredictable environments with extremes in noise, odors, etc.

Regular use of computer keyboards, telephone and operating office machines, requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity. 

Occasional lifting and carrying of supplies, files, documents, records, etc.
