GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Program Clinical Supervisor is responsible for clinical
and administrative program oversight, supervision of assigned program staff,
including monitoring quality of direct service provision, overall productivity
levels, quality assurance activities, and clinical best practice utilizing the
electronic health record (EHR) system as the primary information tool.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Coordinates intake, individual evaluation, service
delivery, program evaluation, discharge, and referral for consumers served
in the program.
- Ensures that individual evaluations and assessments are
consumer driven, responsive to identified strengths and needs, and
conducted in a timely manner.
- Ensures that Individual Treatment/Service/Behavioral
Crisis plans are developed in conjunction with the consumer, the
consumer's family where appropriate, and significant others in accordance
with consumer/family strengths and needs and in compliance with agency
procedures, licensing standards, MaineCare and/or Medicare regulations as
well as other funding sources.
- May be required to provide interim counseling and/or
treatment to consumers. Provision of these services will be within the
scope of practice of the employee's professional license or certification.
- Ensures that clinical and program staff develop a
written plan of care in accordance with consumer/family needs and
participatory goal setting with the consumer and significant other.
- Maintains active involvement with consumer and provider
groups in support of the agency and program missions, including advocacy
and community education activities.
- Assists staff in the utilization of the EHR in the
development of Individual Treatment/Service Plans.
- Ensures that clinical and program staff make referrals
to other professionals and/or programs as appropriate to ensure optimal
service.
- Coordinates and facilitates program staff meetings and
provides leadership and promotes a positive agency image to staff.
Facilitates effective and professional communications.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
- A Master's Degree and either an LCSW/LCPC/LMFT clinical
license or ANS clinical licensure with PMHCNSBC certification is required,
a conditional license may be considered.
- Duties require knowledge of mental health and
community support clinical coordination.
